One True Love // Grey Likes Feature {2/8/17}
"Hi Everyone!
Due to some technical difficulties, which I don't quite understand, we unfortunately lost all of our previous blog posts! I know, it is not ideal....BUT don't worry, we're still here and getting back to business! To kick off our new blog, we're sharing more about our styled shoot featured yesterday over on Grey Likes Weddings. Enjoy!"

Last year, when photographer Emily March Payne reached out to me for a collaboration opportunity, it didn't take me long at all to hop on board! She had a vision of beauty that immediately captured my imagination...
Hues of moody blues, classic vintage pieces, light and airy blooms, delicate silk ribbon, the gorgeous light of a California sunset.....and an unforgettable dinner in the vineyards! Yes, in the vineyards!

As I began to curate the vintage items we would use, it became obvious we were going to be using silver, instead of the currently ever-so-popular gold....and I got excited, because my Grandmother had just given me her old silver trays, which had been given to her on her wedding day 60 years ago (Their anniversary is today, actually!)
I decided to keep things pretty simplistic in color and design.
I used our Avery chair for bridal and detail shots because I just lover her neutral fabric and caned back. She is a classic beauty who certainly stands out!
When it came time to set the table, I let my creativity go and the result was even better than we had all hoped. Emily had provided so many options of us to play with, neutrals, blues, mix and match plates and napkins....it was a blast! We settled on a layered effect, using both the blues and the neutrals, so that the blooms popped off the table.
As I grabbed a few grapes to nibble for a mid-day snack, I set down my bunch on one of the plates.....and there was the final, accidental touch....that deeper hue to make the table setting really pop! I would totally eat dinner here, in this exact spot, every day if I could!
For the dinner table set up, I used Oliver, Elodie and Gwen!
Without the help of such a talented, creative and fun team, none of it would have been possible. It takes a village, people!
Having a beautiful, real couple, who's in love doesn't hurt either!
Aren't they adorable?!?!?
It was a pretty epic day indeed! We laughed, sipped rose, and celebrated afterwards with some In-n-Out! I think it's safe to say, we'll all be Friendors for life!
